Frozen Banana Yogurt Recipe

Yogurt for dessert has become the all time favorites of most people who are concerned of their weight. Why is yogurt getting more popular as part of daily diet nowadays? To add to your list of yogurt-based desserts, here is an easy to prepare recipe of frozen banana yogurt.

  • 4 cups plain yogurt or vanilla flavored
  • 1 cup sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 cup all purpose cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups ripe mashed bananas

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine yogurt, sugar, salt, all purpose cream and vanilla. Cover with a cling wrap and put inside the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  2. Add mashed bananas to the chilled mixture.
  3. Freeze as directed.
  4. Once frozen serve in individual dessert cups.
